  3. Stars are divided into classes according to the lines they display in their spectrums. According to the currently used 
  4. Harvard classification, stars are divided into seven main types, which are further divided into subtypes 0 to 9. The main 
  5. types are O-, B-, A-, F-, G-, K- and M.
  6.  
  7. In addition to the aforementioned, further types exist:
  8. C stars, which are red coal stars,
  9. S stars, which are red stars,
  10. P stars, which are planetary nebulae,
  11. Q stars, which are novas
  12. W stars, which are Wolf-Rayert stars.
